Thermal Soundwaves Radio Interview with Biz Markie

December 16, 2009 Leave a comment Go to comments

One of the pioneers of hip hop who is still making music with his mouth, Bizmarkie, took time out to talk to us about the Big Apple Classic (a part effort to help fight cancer) event he was spinning for. Biz just did a commercial for Radio Shack that’s airing nationally now. The Radio Boys (C.Truth, Kev Lawrence) pressed the Biz on such things as: his favorite place to DJ, thoughts on Mr. MagicJuice Crew, artist who dare to be different, 80’s artist who opened doors who recently passed on, how he transitioned from MC to DJ, communication with the (Ice Cube, Latifah, etc), exactly how many vinyl records he has, his involvement with kids show Yo Gabba Gabba and the upcoming tour with plans for school curriculum associated with the show. If that was not enough, find out if he stole a playlist from Luv Bug Starski, who would win Bizmarkie vs. Kid Capri, did Biz or Doug E. Fresh do the beat box first, and why he was so charged to put up $100 per every rare record that he has to whomever else is a DJ with rare records. It got a little testy folks! Give your ears some entertainment. Then log on to: www.thermalsoundwaves.com for what’s to come in the future. Peace!
