CBS News reported Tuesday that the an investigation is being launched into the “leaked” autopsy report of actress Brittany Murphy, who died Sunday morning. Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office Assistant Chief Coroner Ed Winter stated that he did not know how details of the confidential preliminary autopsy report performed on the 32-year-old “Don’t Say A Word” star made their way to celebrity gossip site TMZ. TMZ has refused comment as to how they obtained the autopsy report.

TMZ reported Tuesday on the details of the paramedics response to the 911 call to Brittany Murphy’s Hollywood Hills home, where they found the actress unresponsive. In the report, TMZ listed a number of prescription drugs allegedly found in the home, including Topamax (an anti-seizure medication), Fluoxetine (treats depression), Klonopin (anxiety), Propranolol (a hypertension medicine also used in the prevention of heart attacks), Ativan (anxiety), Vicoprofen and Hydrocodone (pain).

T.I. Released From Prison Early

The King of the South is headed home. Hip-hop superstar T.I. was released from a federal prison in Arkansas this morning, after serving seven months of his one-year sentence for a felony weapons conviction.

His attorney, Steve Sadow, tells E! News that the MC will report to a halfway house in his native Atlanta this evening for the remainder of his sentence.

“[A halfway house] is not unusual in the least; it happens across the board as long as the inmates are eligible,” Sadow said, noting that T.I. also got credit for time served in home detention. “They decided that three months in a halfway house would assist him with reentering society.”

The 29-year-old T.I., real name Clifford Harris Jr., was busted in 2007 for using a bodyguard to attempt to buy unregistered machine guns and silencers from an undercover agent, just hours before he was set to perform at the BET Awards.

The Paper Trail rapper subsequently pleaded guilty to a federal weapons charge, completed 1,000 hours of community service (including an MTV special) and paid a $100,000 fine. Now that he’s out, he must complete an additional 500 hours of community service.

Kid Cudi was held at gunpoint by police in Los Angeles Tuesday (Dec. 21), in a case of mistaken identity that occurred just one week after the rapper left his opening slot on Lady Gaga’s Monster Ball tour.

Cudi, whose real name is Scott Mescudi, was in the midst of a photo shoot for NME magazine when he and his entourage were pulled over on Fairfax Avenue by police offers in search of suspected robbers.

NME reporter Emily Mackay later blogged about the incident, describing a dramatic scene that included “an angry, shaven-headed American policeman screaming, ‘KEEP YOUR TWO HANDS VISIBLE’ while pointing a gun at the back your head through the rear window.”

According to reports, Cudi and his entourage were ordered to exit three vehicles and kneel on the ground, where they were handcuffed. Police soon released the group, however, upon realizing that they had detained the wrong party.

“Such is life, apparently, when you roll with Kid Cudi and his crew,” added Mackay.

On Dec. 18, Cudi’s representatives announced that he was leaving Lady Gaga’s Monster Ball tour after playing just a few dates on the trek “in order to balance his schedule surrounding the recording of his next album and acting commitments.” The announcement came shortly after the rapper was criticized for punching a fan at a tour stop in Vancouver.
