Weezy returns to the cover of Rolling Stone. Peep some excerpts from the issue which hits newsstands on January 21st. Behind the scenes after the jump.

— When Wayne sat court-side at a recent Miami Heat/New Orleans Hornets game he was upset that Lebron James and Dwayne Wade never came over to talk to him. “Them niggas never speak to a nigga,” he says. “They don’t chuck me the deuce or nothing. Nigga spent all that money on them fucking tickets … Come holla at me. We sit right by them little bitch-ass niggas. At least come ask me why I’m not rooting for you.”

— He spent his final month in jail in solitary after he was caught with an iPod charger in his cell. It could have been worse: He also had a watch with an MP3 player on it, but another inmate took the rap. “He was a solid nigga,” says Wayne. “Shout-out to Charles…Solitary was the worst. No TV. No radio. No commissary. Basically you’re in there 23 hours a day.” The only upside was he had a window where he could watch cars go by. “I used to sit at that motherfucker all day,” he says.

Lil Wayne Slammed With Another Tax Lien For Unpaid Taxes

The Detroit News reports that Dwayne Carter has been hit with yet another tax lien, this one for $1.13 million dollars. A few years back, he was hit with a tax lien, for $977,840, but it was paid off soon after and I have no doubt this one will be as well. Young Moolah baby, indeed.

Lil Wayne Pays Homage To Mothers

May 7, 2010 Leave a comment

Since Mother’s Day is coming up this Sunday, Lil Wayne, who is serving a year in Rikers Island for a gun charge,  decided to pen a heartfelt letter for all the mothers around the world. Peep the excerpt below.

“The love between a mother and her offspring is hands down the most beautiful thing God created. More than money, more than fame, more than cars. You know why? Because true love is the only thing that lasts from the moment you’re born to the second you perish. Everything else eventually leaves, think about it. All love needs to survive is love. To all the mothers who read this letter, I hope this day allows you to feel the love and respect you so rightfully deserve. You are the role models, not me.”
